I'm a seasoned real estate investment, development and management executive. During a professional career of over 30 years, I have owned and run numerous successful small businesses, held senior management positions in several startups and developed, managed and re-positioned numerous multi-million dollar office, industrial, and residential properties. As president of Apex Properties, I am principally responsible for strategic company planning, business development, acquisitions, strategic project planning and investor relations. Apex Properties helps investors and business owners build wealth, expand their businesses and reduce operating costs by maximizing the value and utilization of investment and commercial properties for long-term income and value growth. Currently I'm leading the successful re-development and re-positioning of One Jackson Place, a 90,000 SF investment project at Devens, Massachusetts. One Jackson Place is a $8.5 Million Dollar project.
I have lived in Leominster, Massachusetts since 1986. The best deal I ever made was marrying my wife Kristen of 15 Years. She has given me untold millions in love, companionship and compassion and 3 beautiful children Sam, Maggie and Lucy.
Community service is core fabric of my life. I’m honored to serve as the Vice Chair of the Boys and Girl Club of North Central Massachusetts and on the Leominster Educational Foundation. I currently Chair the Steering Committee for the Boys and Girls Club Capital and Endowment Campaign. I’ve been pleased to participate as a parent representative for numerous Leominster School District study groups, the building committee for Skyview Middle School and the original Chair of the Southeast Elementary School Science Park. I love to coach youth basketball and the Rec Department annually puts up with me. I was the 2008 Boys and Girls Club Distinguished Service Recipient and I was honored to receive the 2009 Mount Wachusett Community College Presidential Commendation Service Above Self Award.”
Rob Beland

Rob has been with Apex Properties since 2002 when he was hired as an assistant property manager. In 2004, Rob received his Real Estate license and began his career in commercial sales and leasing. In addition to his work at Apex, Rob owns and manages several residential income properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Rob is active in several business organizations such as the North Central Mass Chamber of Commerce where he sits on the Commercial/Industrial Property Committee as well as the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce where he chairs the Membership Committee. As an active candidate for the CCIM designation, Rob is constantly refining his skills and broadening his knowledge base in an effort to distinguish himself from the competition. A Certified Commercial Investment Member is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate.
Rob is a life-long resident of Leominster where he lives with his wife Diana and their two daughters, Ella and Anya. Rob, along with his wife and children participate annually in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes. Additionally, Rob is proud to serve on the New Building/Facilities Committee for the Boys & Girls Club and understands the importance of getting involved in his local community and always looks forward to offering his services wherever they are needed.
Michael Lanney

Mr. Lanney joined Apex Properties in 2005 to over see all construction, capital improvements and property maintenance services. Mike Brings 15 years of operational experience to Apex and manages all day to day operations of the company. Along with Mike’s responsibilities in the construction and property services divisions of Apex he is also a licensed real estate salesperson which helps him bring a knowledge base to clients in regards to their current projects. Mike has a BA in history and a minor in business from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is currently working on a Construction Management degree from Northeastern University. Mike also chairs the New Building Committee for the North Central Massachusetts Boys and Girls Club where he guides the club on construction and building maintenance issues. Mike lives in Leominster, Massachusetts with his wife, Colleen, and their children, Brianna, Courtney and Brody.
Dawn Veino
Operations Manager

Dawn came to Apex Properties in 2006 bringing almost twenty years of Administrative experience at Victory Supermarkets Executive Offices. While at Victory, she supported the executive, supervisory, management and office staffs. She spent many years working closely with the financial management and executives and played a key role in preparing the company for its merger. She was able to apply that knowledge base to managing the financials for Apex Properties, Apex Property Services and for the properties we manage.
Dawn also uses her inter-personal skills as Property Manager and has now moved towards the management and leasing areas of Apex. She is careful to balance her good relationships with both our tenants and our vendors while keeping the best interest of our clients at the forefront.
She is working toward her CPM designation through IREM International.
Dawn is involved with the Boys and Girls Club of North Central Mass, serving on the Annual Mini-Golf Tournament Committee helping the club raise $60,000 annually and plays a key role on the Steering Committee for the club’s Capital and Endowment Campaign.
